Learn how to view and manage scheduled inspections in Kuviq.

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard shows inspections requiring attention through status summary cards.

Status Summary Cards

The dashboard displays smart status cards based on your current inspection status:

When inspections need attention:

CardColorMeaning
Overdue🔴 RedPast due date, needs immediate attention
Due Today🟡 YellowScheduled for today
Due This Week🟢 GreenComing up in the next 7 days

When all caught up:

  • Shows "All inspections up to date" message
  • May still show "Due This Week" card if you have upcoming inspections

Click any status card to navigate directly to the filtered inspection list for that category.

Quick Actions

From the dashboard:

  • Click a status card to see filtered inspections
  • Use the scan button to quickly inspect an item
  • View the next inspections list for upcoming work

Viewing Upcoming Inspections

From the Dashboard

  1. Review the Status Summary Cards for counts by urgency
  2. Click a card to see the filtered list
  3. Or scroll to the Next Inspections list for details

From Inspections Menu

  1. Navigate to Inspections
  2. Filter by Status: Upcoming or Due
  3. View the complete list

From Items

  1. Open an item's details
  2. Check the Next Inspection field
  3. View inspection due date

Understanding Inspection Status

Status Types

Warning Period

The "Due Soon" warning period is typically:

  • Set per inspection schedule
  • Often 7 days before due date
  • Configurable by administrators

  1. Go to Inspections
  2. Filter by Assigned to: Me
  3. See your personal workload

  • Plan for upcoming inspections
  • Request reassignment if needed

Starting Scheduled Inspections

From Upcoming List

  1. Find the inspection
  2. Click Start or Inspect
  3. Complete the inspection form
  4. Submit when done

From Item

  1. Open the item
  2. Click Inspect
  3. Complete and submit

From QR Scan

  1. Scan the item's QR code
  2. Select Inspect
  3. Complete and submit

Inspection Schedules

Recurring inspections are created by schedules:

How Schedules Work

  1. Admin creates a schedule
  2. Schedule defines:
    • Which items to inspect
    • Which template to use
    • How often (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
    • Who to assign
  3. System creates inspections automatically
  4. Inspections appear in your upcoming list

Viewing Schedules

To see active schedules:

  1. Go to Inspections > Schedules
  2. View all configured schedules
  3. See next scheduled date
Schedule Management

Creating and editing schedules typically requires Manager or Admin permissions.

Kuviq notifies you about inspections:

Reassigning Inspections

If you can't complete an assigned inspection:

  1. Contact your supervisor/admin
  2. Request reassignment
  3. Or leave unassigned for another user

Admins can reassign from the inspection details.

Best Practices

  1. Check dashboard daily - Review upcoming work
  2. Prioritize overdue - Address these first
  3. Plan ahead - Review weekly schedule
  4. Communicate - Report if you can't complete assignments

Workload Management

If you have too many inspections:

  • Discuss with your manager
  • Request priority guidance
  • Identify critical vs. routine items

Reports

Generate reports on upcoming inspections:

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select Upcoming Inspections or create custom
  3. Filter by date range, location, etc.
  4. Export or schedule delivery

Reports help with:

  • Resource planning
  • Workload distribution
  • Compliance tracking
